About Me
Judith Zapata was born in Cusco, Peru, in 1980. She completed her primary and secondary education at Educandas School. She then continued her studies at the National University of San Antonio Abad of Cusco, where she trained as an official tourist guide over five years. During this time, she also studied English to strengthen her communication skills.
After completing her studies, Judith worked on cruise ships, traveling around the world and gaining valuable international experience. Throughout these years, she met people from different cultures and shared her knowledge and passion for Peru with travelers.
With extensive experience in tourism, Judith speaks English fluently and currently works with Tierras Vivas and Responsible People. She is in charge of project administration, coordinating with professionals and health specialists to plan and implement the next stages of each initiative.
Judith is enthusiastic and highly committed to developing and managing projects. She regularly meets with local communities to explain initiatives and ensure active participation. She also volunteers in reforestation campaigns and other community activities.
Passionate about learning, Judith continues to deepen her knowledge of Andean culture and traditions. Today, she also plays an important role in connecting our travel partner with the Responsible People Foundation, helping strengthen this meaningful collaboration.
