Partnerships: Working Together for Responsible Tourism in Peru

At Responsible People Foundation, we believe that real change happens through collaboration. Since our establishment in 2010 by Edwin Edgar Caviedes and Milagros Valery Toledo, we have joined forces with passionate organizations and individuals who share our mission of promoting responsible tourism, environmental sustainability, and social development in the Andes of Peru.

Our foundation focuses on sustainable tourism, environmental protection, and social progress. We believe that travel should generate positive impacts — protecting nature, preserving culture, and empowering local communities.

Building Change Through Partnership

Our partnerships are the foundation of every successful project we carry out. Through the generous support of our donors, volunteers, and partner tour operators, we reach remote Andean communities to provide education, healthcare, and environmental programs such as reforestation, waste reduction, and clean water access.

Gratitude to Our Volunteers and Supporters

Our reforestation initiatives continue to grow year after year. Even with small contributions, we are helping restore native forests, protect biodiversity, and reduce the environmental footprint of tourism in the Andes. We know that together, we can make Peru a model for sustainable travel in South America.

To all our volunteers, we offer our sincere thanks for being part of this mission. Your time, energy, and compassion have made a lasting impact on the communities we visit. Each project you join teaches us the true value of solidarity and teamwork.

We also appreciate the contributions of our donors who continue to support our environmental and social initiatives. Your generosity fuels projects such as tree planting campaigns, school supply donations, clean water projects, and healthcare assistance for families in high Andean regions.

Our Valued Partner Travel Companies

Our success is possible thanks to the strong alliance with our official travel partners, who share our values of responsible and ethical tourism:

Salkantay Trek Machu

How Travel Supports Change

Every traveler who books a tour with our authorized partner operators becomes part of this positive transformation. A portion of each booking directly funds our foundation’s projects, ensuring that support reaches the most remote and vulnerable communities in Peru.

Your journey does more than create memories — it plants trees, supports education, and uplifts families in need.

We firmly believe that responsible travel transforms lives. Our partners are committed to transparency and sustainability in all operations, ensuring that every adventure supports local people, culture, and the environment.

Join Us and Be Part of the Change
